  • What font are we currently using?

    SUSE is using an open source type face called Work Sans. It is free for anyone to use and can be downloaded on Brand Space.

  • How can the font be used?

    Please follow the typography usage guidelines outlined here.

  • Why are we no longer using our old font?

    In contrast to the previous font, SUSE’s new type face is a product of open source and is free for anyone to download and use. In addition, with the new identity, came the need to re-evaluate how we present our messaging to our audiences. Work Sans, SUSE’s new approved font is a modern and technologically sophisticated type face.

  • What color should type be?

    As a good rule of thumb, typography should either be black or white to pass contrast compliance standards. For more detailed do’s and don’t’s, please follow the typography usage guidelines outlined here.

  • What font should I use for presentations?

    Please download and use the approved Brand type face, Work Sans. If you are unable to download the font, please use Verdana.

  • How do I access the correct font?

    SUSE’s brand font, Work Sans, is free for anyone to use and can be downloaded on Brand Space.
